Installer Walkthrough

Start by running the Cosmo.exe file, setting an install location, and creating your installer to your chosen location. You should create a folder especially for this rather than putting it straight on your desktop. The installer generates several files.

After installing, exit out of the application and run CosmoInstaller.exe. You can now delete the Cosmo.exe app as it is no longer required.

To obtain a Licence Key, go to the Cosmo Support Server. Once you have it, copy and paste it into the Licence Key text box.

Enter your brand name, IP address, and description, as you might guess.

Upload the logo to Imgur (or similar). The logo should be 108x108 pixels. You can do more or less; it just might look compressed/stretched. Play with the sizes to find something you like. Right-click the image and copy the image address. It will have a file extension at the end. This is required and will not work if removed.

Afterwards, press the export button to continue.

Once the export button is pressed, the program should quit and open the child installer. Now everything is set up and ready to go. This is what your user will see. All they need to do is press the Install button to install the connection to your server and the Uninstall button to remove it.

Now, all you need to do is copy the two files marked Install.exe and Install.exe.config (Do not rename these) and send them to your users. It's as easy as that!
